Dumpert, Grabouski, Prauner and Drueke Are Nebraska's Best in 2016

I held out for a couple of extra weeks waiting to see if the Butler County Speedway would ever report the results of their Harvest Fest race, but just like all too many tracks they seem to forget about little details like that with their Fall specials so without those results I declare the 2016 racing season in Nebraska "complete". These state point standing were tabulated using the same 5-point scale as the All Iowa Points, but only results (the ones that were reported at least) from tracks in Nebraska were included.

The two different divisions of Late Models in the state were combined into one list with Cory Dumpert of York standing at the top. Dumpert posted an impressive nineteen feature wins this season as well as six runner-up finishes. IMCA Modified National champion Jordan Grabouski split his time between tracks in Nebraska and Kansas in 2016 and his fifteen feature wins on Husker state soil were enough to put him at the top of these points as well. Kyle Prauner of Norfolk had another strong season with eighteen feature wins to easily outdistance the rest of the Limited Modified drivers in Nebraska. And all three divisions of winged sprints (410, 360 & 305) that raced in the state in 2016 were combined into one group with Eagle's Tyler Drueke leading the way with a five win season.
