It was just a few short years ago when young Kaden Reynolds was building his experience by racing a Micro Mod at Independence and Vinton. Late in the 2018 season Reynolds made the move to the full size Hobby Stocks and immediately won two feature races. In his first full season Kaden finished fifth in the final state standings and last year he advanced to third on the list before climbing to the top in 2021 for his first All Iowa Points Hobby Stock championship.
Reynolds had to play catch up as Daniel Wauters had raced out to a sizeable early lead, but with thirty feature wins in thirty-nine top five finishes Kaden took the lead in mid-August and then pulled away to a 26 point victory. Wauters scored twenty-one feature wins in he first twenty-five top fives, but after expending a lot of time, travel and energy in his quest to win the IMCA title Daniel did not race again after the end of August. With nine more top fives to close out his season it was still an impressive runner-up showing for the driver that ranked 44th in 2020.

Last year's champion Dustin Gulbrandson also mounted a charge in the second half of the season to take third in 2021. The South Dakota based driver was a fourteen time feature winner on All Iowa Points paying tracks and he had thirty-four top five finishes.
In the All Iowa Points rather than a Rookie-of-the-Year we recognize a Newcomer of the Year that is awarded to the highest ranked driver who scores points in the division for the first time and for 2021 that goes to Andrew Burk who finished sixth in the final standings.
