When we compiled this list in 2023 Ethan Braaksma did not even appear on it, but after getting off to a hot start to the new season the young driver from Newton, Iowa, wheeled his Rage chassis to win after win to earn the title of the Best in the Midwest for the Modifieds in 2024. He did this without winning one of the fourteen state championships coming up just five points shot to Austen Becerra in the All Iowa Points, but a win and three runner-up finishes in North Dakota in July pushed him to the top here.

The 2024 Illinois Points champion Michael Long is this year's runner-up, a big jump from 39th last year while Becerra checks in at third after ranking second last year. The 2024 USMTS champion Jim Chisholm is tied for fourth along with UMP ace Mike McKinney.
