Nichols Repeats Stock Car "Best of the Midwest" Honor; Headed To Texas In 2025

For the second straight season, and for the third time in the five years that we have been tracking the Stock Car division across all fourteen states, Mike Nichols has earned the title "Best of the Midwest" for the division. The Harlan, Iowa, native recently announced that he is moving to Texas so it will be interesting to see how often he will be competing around his new home where, despite the longer season due to weather, the number of opportunities to compete will be fewer and far between.

The two drivers who chased Nichols in the 2024 All Iowa Points, John Oliver Jr. and Kelly Shryock, also rank second third here as well while Jaylen Wettengel combined his points from Missouri and Kansas to rank fourth. Oklahoma Points champion Jeff Metcalf is fifth while the 2021 Best of the Midwest driver Dallon Murty lands in sixth.
