The 2026 racing season in Nebraska closed out with three big shows at the Beatrice Speedway and the results from this weekend would actually determine one of the five champions in the Nebraska Points in this our eleventh season of tracking all of the dirt tracks in the state. In the end one new young face would be atop the standings joining four other drivers who continue to build their resumes with state championships.
With eight time champion Cory Dumpert focusing his efforts on the Tri-State Late Model series in 2026, that opened the door for a new Late Model champion and young Beau Johnson would claim his first Nebraska Points Late Model title on the strength of six wins in twenty-three top five finishes. Beau ranked third last year as Dumpert nailed down his seventh straight title. Landen Rojewski was ranked 15th in 2025, but he is the 2026 runner-up posting four feature wins in his fourteen top fives while Chase Osborne improves one position over last year by finishing third with two checkered flags in twelve top five outings.
With a runner-up finish on Friday at Beatrice and then a feature win at his home track on Saturday, Jordan Grabouski overtakes the defending champion Shawn Harker to win his eighth Nebraska Points Modified championship. It was Grabo's tenth Modified win on a Nebraska track this season and his sixteenth top five finish. Harker settles for the runner-up spot with six wins in seventeen top fives while Jaxon Saathoff takes third behind two victories in fourteen top fives. Grabouski was also a three-time winner in the Stock Cars where he ranks thirteenth in the final standings.
Speaking of the Stock Cars, Kyle Vanover scores his second straight Nebraska Points title carving out thirteen feature wins in thirty top five finishes to put him over the century mark and 37 points ahead of runner-up Jeff Ware. Finishing second last year as well, Ware was a winner seven times in twenty top five finishes while the 2023 champion Dillon Richards takes third on the strength of four wins in twenty-one top fives.
The driver with the most points in the state this year is Limited Modified champion Cole Wayman who tallied up 118 with eleven victories in thirty-one top fives to ease to his second straight Nebraska Points crown. Cole also finished eighth in the final Winged Sprint Car standings with one feature victory. Riley Osantowski is keeping the family name prominent as he finished second with six wins in twenty-one top fives. His father Brian was the Nebraska Points Limited Modified Champion in 2020. Third goes to Cameron Meyer as the former Four Cylinder star grabbed five wins in fifteen top five finishes.
Tyler Drueke snared four feature wins in twelve top fives to earn his fifth Nebraska Points Winged Sprint Car title with his last one coming in 2023. Mitchell Dvorak is the runner-up taking two wins in seven top fives while Adam Gullion takes third scoring points in ten events with one of those landing him in victory lane.
