It is my honor to be one of the ten voters in Dirt On Dirt's weekly Top 25 poll for Dirt Late Model drivers and it should come as no surprise that my weekly poll is determined by a calculation that takes into account the winner's purse and the car count for each event that is then weighted by not only the driver's total points for the year, but also the previous four weeks.
This week Dirt On Dirt announced that Jonathan Davenport is their 2022 Driver of the Year as "Superman" just eclipsed the two million dollars in winnings mark this past weekend with his win in the XR Super Series event in Florida. My method also endorses J.D. in a landslide as we present our Back Stretch Hot 100 Late Model drivers for 2022.
