Not in the Late Models though as Cory Dumpert had enough of a lead to serve a two week suspension from IMCA in July and then did some Super Late Model racing as well to earn his seventh straight and eight overall title since we started tracking the state back in 2016. Dumpert scored seven feature wins in nineteen top five finishes and that gave him ten points more than runner-up Anthony Roth who had six wins in sixteen top fives. Roth was the Nebraska Points Modified champion in 2023 and has now been the runner-up to Dumpert in the Late Models for two years in a row. Beau Johnson was a ways back in third winning three times in his seventeen top fives.
The Nebraska Points Modified title was decided by just one point as Shawn Harker edged out seven time champion Jordan Grabouski. Harker, who was the Limited Modified champion in 2019, had twenty-four top five finishes with six of those being victories while Grabouski had eleven wins in seventeen top fives. Austin Svoboda who was the 2017 Limited Modified champion was a distance third winning four times in thirteen top fives.
Speaking of the Limited Modifieds, multi-division racer Cole Wayman earns the Nebraska Points title by winning five times in twenty-three top fives making him the tenth different champion in ten years. The 2024 champion Tyler Nerud is the runner-up taking eight wins in seventeen top fives while Riley Osantowski, the son of the 2020 champ Brian Osantowski takes third with four wins in twenty-two top fives.
We have a new champion in the Sprint Cars as well as Dominic White takes the top spot with three wins in eight top fives. A pair of former champions, Joey Danley and Tyler Drueke tied for the second spot with both of them also scorning points on eight race nights. Drueke who is a four-time champion had five feature wins while the 2021 champion Danley had three victories.
Kyle Vanover has been close in the past and by eclipsing the 100 point mark with thirteen wins in twenty-four top fives, he captures his first Nebraska Points title in the Stock Cars. Jeff ware is the runner-up scoring eleven wins in twenty-two top fives while two-time champion Cameron Wilkinson takes third ringing up six feature wins in twenty-one top fives.
