When he earned his first All Iowa Points in 2015, Tom Berry Jr. was visiting the Midwest from his then hometown of Medford, Oregon. In 2019 while racing out of Newburg, North Dakota, Berry captured that state's championship using our same 5-point scale and after settling in Des Moines he put up phenomenal numbers to take his first All Iowa Points Modified championship.
Berry had streaks where it seemed like he could not be beaten and, if another driver did keep him from victory lane he was always there challenging posting forty-two top five finishes on the season with twenty-two of them being feature wins. Jeff Larson from Freeport, Illinois, kept things tight at the top of the standings throughout the season as he too visited victory lane twenty-two times while recording thirty-six top fives on the year. Larson improves one spot after finishing third last year behind Joel Rust and Kelly Shryock.

Not only did he finish third in the 2020 Late Model standings, Jeff Aikey also ranks third in the All Iowa Points for the Modifieds after winning nine times in thirty-three top fives coming up just short of taking his third title in three different divisions. Aikey was the All Iowa Points Sportsman champion in 1984 and the Late Model champ in 2003.

The Newcomer of the Year title goes to Ryan Duhme as he scored points in the Modified class for the first time in his career with a total of 39, just one point better than division rookie Jake McBirnie.
