In the Late Models Derrick Hilliker makes the move from an eighth place finish last year to claim the 2023 Michigan Points title on the strength of nine feature wins in twenty-four top five finishes. Rich Neiser ranked third last year and moves to second this season with five victories in twenty top five runs while Greg Gokey completes the podium winning eight times in seventeen top five finishes. Gokey was ninth in 2022.

Myron DeYoung dominated the Modified division capturing his first Michigan Points championship with a 48 point margin over runner-up Collin Thirlby. DeYoung was a fifteen time feature winner in 2023 as part of his thirty-three top fives and he improves from a sixth-place showing in 2022. Last year's champion, Thirlby picked up eight feature wins in twenty top fives while Mitchell Hunt improves from fifth last year to third in '23 with seven wins in twenty top fives.

With his feature win at Butler on September 16th young Tylar Rankin secured his first Michigan Points Winged Sprint Car championship with a five point edge over two-time defending champion Max Stambaugh with Keith Sheffer Jr. in third. All three drivers had eleven top five finishes on the season with Rankin winning three times and Stambaugh once. Tylar was runner-up to Max in 2022 while Sheffer Jr. makes a big year over year improvement coming from nineteenth last year.
