Let's start with the first-time Nebraska Points Modified champion who has spent many of the past several seasons chasing six-time champ Jordan Grabouski. This is Anthony Roth's year to prevail as the Columbus driver posted a state's best thirty-one top five finishes with four of them being victories to carry him to his first title in these standings. Grabouski finishes nineteen points back in second with eleven wins in seventeen top fives while Brandon Clough joins the podium with three wins in seventeen top five finishes. For Clough it was a big move forward from a 16th place finish in 2022.

Brandon Spanjer keeps the string of new Nebraska Points champions going in the Limited Modifed division posting eight wins in thirty-one top five finishes. Spanjer ranked third in 2022 just five points back from champion Matthew Andrews and the other six champions starting from 2021 and working back have been Robbie Thome, Brian Osantowski, Shawn Harker, Lance Borgman, Austin Svoboda and Kyle Prauner. James Roebuck, who ranked fifth last year, moves to the runner-up position with eleven wins in twenty-two top fives while Robbie Thome is third taking thirteen wins in twenty-one top five showings.

We started tracking the Stock Cars in 2020 with Iowan Mike Nichols taking the inaugural title followed by Nebraska Points champions Cade Richards and Cameron Wilkinson. The fourth new champion here in 2023 is Dillon Richards who just made the move to the division late in 2022 after running a Hobby Stock. In his first full year in a Stock Car, Richards captured seven victories in his twenty-three top five finishes. After ranking fourth in 2022, Kyle Wilkinson moves to second this season with eight wins in twenty-one top fives while the defending champion Cameron Wilkinson rides seven wins in twenty top fives to a third place effort in 2023.

Cory Dumpert continued his domination of the Late Model class in Nebraska earning his fifth straight and sixth overall Nebraska Points championship to go with one title in Kansas as well. Dumpert was in victory lane fourteen times this season in his twenty-seven top five finishes and outdistanced runner-up Alex Banks by forty-one markers. Banks, who finished sixth last season, was a four-time winner in twenty-one top fives while Chase Osborne takes third with one win in nineteen points earning races. Osborne was fifth in 2022.
