The chase for an IMCA National title may have played a part in deciding the 2025 All Iowa Points championship in the Hobby Stock division as when season-long points leader Dillon Richards started traveling to Minnesota to race head-to-head with eventual National Champion Cory Probst, he was not scoring points in these standings and that allowed Spencer driver Brandon Nielsen to close the gap on him entering the Fall specials season.
Then, when Richards left the Hobby Stock behind and started racing his Four Cylinder at the end of September that was all that Nielsen needed to drive away to his first All Iowa Points Hobby Stock championship. After placing fifth in these standings last year, and third in 2023, Brandon left no doubt in 2025 posting sixteen feature wins in forty-six top fives to boast a twenty-four point advantage over runner-up Joshua Monson. The driver from Clear Lake had eleven wins in forty-three top fives while Richards took third with an impressive record of twenty-four feature wins in thirty top fives on AIP paying tracks. However, he only scored eight points after August 24th.
The 2020 All Iowa Points champion Dustin Gulbrandson logs in at fourth with Jordan Miles taking fifth after placing third in these standings in 2024. Note that this is the same path that Nielsen took so we will see if Miles can repeat that in 2026. Bradly Graham finished in the sixth spot, seventh went to the 2022 champion Randy Lamar, the 2014 champ Dustin Griffiths placed eighth, Parker Anderson was ninth and Daniel Wauters filled out the top ten.
Young Carson Butt who closed out the season with a win at Marshalltown's Harvest Hustle is the Newcomer of the Year in the division as he tied for the 43rd spot on this list.
