Zeitner was also in title contention back in 2022 before placing third behind Justin Kay and Matt Ryan, just nine points from the front. This year he would be a fifteen-time feature winner in thirty top five finishes to close the deal by twenty points over division rookie Logan Veloz. The up and coming driver out of the Quad Cities was on top of the standings at the end of September, but was only able to add six points to his total through the Fall specials. As the runner-up Logan also earns our "Newcomer of the Year" honor in the Late Model division taking eleven feature wins in twenty-six top five finishes.
Third goes to C.J. Horn who continued his improvement in 2025 taking eight checkered flags in twenty-three top fives as he rises from a fourteenth place showing in 2024. Fourth goes to the racing attorney Denny Woodworth who has been consistently in the top ten for many years now while three-time champion Matt Ryan ranks fifth.
The second best rookie in the division was pretty darn impressive as well with Dallon Murty landing in the sixth spot while Kale Kosiski had one of his best seasons thus far finishing seventh. Dylan Thornton is another up and coming Late Model talent as this year's SLMR East champion finished eighth in the All Iowa Points while early season leader Curtis Glover wound up ninth. Chad Simpson and the 2023 champion Tommy Elston tied for the tenth spot.
