The top two drivers in the All Iowa Points Late Model point standings raced against each other most of the season and while he might have been seeing Justin Kay's orange #15 in his nightmares after losing some races to him in the final laps, Matt Ryan can ward off the demons by knowing that his overall resume in 2020 was better than his rival and more than enough to capture his third state championship in the standardized point system.

Also an All Iowa Points champion in 2017 and 2019, Ryan picked up eleven feature wins in his thirty-six top five finishes and joins the runner-up Justin Kay as a three-time champion. Kay's titles came in three straight years 2013-2015 and in 2020 he captured thirteen feature wins in his twenty-eight top five finishes. The 2003 All Iowa Points champion and a 2021 National Dirt Late Model Hall of Fame inductee Jeff Aikey finished third in the 2020 standings as he was a winner eleven times in his twenty-six top five showings while young Logan Duffy established himself as a potential contender next season winning four times in twenty-six top fives and ranking fourth in the final run down. Andy Nezworski was consistent again as he rounded out the top five in the standings for the second year in a row with four wins in twenty-two top five finishes.

The 2020 Newcomer of the Year, the driver who earned points in the Late Model division for the first time is Jacob Waterman who won a feature race and finished 40th in the final standings.
