In the Supers it is Justin Mondeik who tops the list for the second year in a row. Scoring most of his points in weekly shows Mondeik was a ten time feature winner in eighteen top five finishes. Taking second is two-time champion Casey Johnson (2018-19) who scored most of his points in special events including his fourth win of the season at the La Crosse Oktoberfest finale. Johnson was in the top five sixteen times in 2021. Taking third is former Cup driver Rich Bickle Jr. who billed the 2021 season as his farewell tour, but with seven wins in sixteen top finishes he ol' veteran might want to reconsider retirement.

In the Late Model division Minnesota's Jacob Goede has now been the champion in all six years that I have tracked the points. Racing weekly at both Madison and Elko, plus showing up and scoring points at just about every special in the region Goede was a nine time feature winner in 2021 with thirty-one top five finishes. After placing twenty-first in these standings last year, Dale Nottestad made a big move up to second on the strength of eight wins in sixteen top fives as he captured the track championship at Jefferson. Third goes to Billy Mohn who also made a big improvement over last year when he ranked nineteenth. Mohn had four wins in nineteen top fives in 2021.

And you dirt track fans might be surprised to find young open wheel sensation Buddy Kofoid listed in 46th in the Late Model standings as he had two runner up finishes in six top fives as he preps for a future move to NASCAR.
