Brown and Dover Repeat, Drueke Returns To The Top In The Final All Iowa Points Sprint Car Standings For 2019

Two of the three Winged Sprint Car divisions saw repeat champions from 2018 as Brian Brown dominated the 410 division and Jack Dover was the best of the 360's, while Tyler Drueke made a late charge to keep Mike Houseman Jr. from making "repeat champions" three for three in the 305's as the All Iowa Points wrapped up for 2019.

The weather turned out to be Brian Brown's stiffest competition in the 410 division at the Knoxville Raceway, and other tracks that ran the class this past season and when it wasn't raining, Brown was winning taking five feature victories in ten top ten finishes to earn his second straight All Iowa Points championship. The 2017 champion Kerry Madsen was the runner-up this year taking two wins in eight top fives and the multiple rainouts of weekly events led to the unusual scenario  of three World of Outlaws regulars, Daryn Pittman, Brad Sweet and David Gravel completing the top five. Twelve-time All Iowa Points champion Terry McCarl was sixth while the "Newcomer of the Year", a title given to the driver posting the most points for his first time in a season was split between two drivers. Carson Short for his early season victory at 34 Raceway and Trey Starks for his Knoxville Nationals preliminary night win as each earned five points.

Lee Grosz gave him a challenge, but in the end it would be Jack Dover earning his fifth All Iowa Points title in the 360 division.  The driver from Springfield, Nebraska, had fourteen top five finishes, two more than Grosz, and was the feature winner in seven of those events. Grosz ended up seven points back winning four main events along the way. 2019 Knoxville Raceway track champion Carson McCarl finished in third with former champions Wayne Johnson (2005 in the 410 division) and Clint Garner (2002, 2013 & 2017) completing the top five. The "Newcomer of the Year" goes to veteran 410 racer James McFadden as his two wins including the championship of the Knoxville 360 Nationals gave him ten points while honorable mention goes to Ayrton Gennetten and Brodie Tulloch.

A second place finish in his final race of the season broke the tie and gave Tyler Drueke his second All Iowa Points championship in the 305 division. Also the champ in 2016, the Eagle, Nebraska, driver was a five time feature winner on All Iowa Points paying tracks in 2019 and finished in the top five fourteen times. Defending champion Mike Houseman Jr. is the runner-up winning twice in thirteen top fives and Trevor Grossenbacher completes the podium with three wins in twelve top five runs. The "Newcomer of the Year" title in the 305's goes to D.J. Palmer of Des Moines who had one victory among his five top fives.
