Dustin Strand absolutely dominated the Late Model division winning his sixth North Dakota Points title, but his first since he went five straight from the start of these points in 2016 through the 2020 season. Strand won eleven times in his sixteen top five finishes meaning that he had more wins than every other Late Model driver in the state had top five finishes, other than runner-up Brody Troftgruben who had two wins in his ten top fives. Two-time former champion Brad Seng joined two other drivers in a tie for third in these standings win no wins in his six top fives. Cole Schill had eight top fives while Mike Greseth won twice in five top fives.
It was a blow out in the Modifieds as well where Travis Hagen captured his fifth straight state championship on the power of twelve feature wins in twenty-one top five outings. Kollin Hibdon, the young Nevada transplant, is a distant second with an impressive eight wins in eleven top fives and Steven Pfeifer makes a big jump from a tie for twenty-third last year up to third in this final rundown after winning four times in eleven top fives.
It was a comfortable margin in the Limited Modifieds as well where Gabriel Deschamp earns his first North Dakota Points championship as he captured fifteen feature wins in twenty-five top fives. Deschamp was tied for second in these standings last season. Tim Goodwin makes a big rise after ranking 45th in 2023 to be this year's runner-up. Goodwin picked up four wins in twenty-three top five finishes. Third goes to Canadian driver Keenan Glasser who scored three victories within his twenty-three top five showings in the state.
With a division leading ten top fives where he was a winner in four of those, Minnesota driver Tye Wilke edged out the 2022 Sprint Car Champion Mark Dobmeier by just four markers. Dobmeier who would have won these points many times had we started tracking them sooner than 2016 was a six time winner in nine top fives while Jade Hastings takes third with four wins in eight points paying efforts. Hastings finished sixth last year.
There is a first-time champion in the Stock Cars as well with Minnesota's Rob VanMil taking the North Dakota honors with six wins in fifteen top fives. Mike Hagen had one more top five than the champ with sixteen with two feature wins and he comes up four points shy in second. Hunter Domagala takes the third spot with five wins in eleven top fives. In 2023 VanMil was just two points out of the title in third while Hagen ranked fifth.
